Writing my story

Cover of a memoir anthology featuring daisies and a sunny sky.

A Christmas Gift - written by EvaNali

With deep gratitude and humility, I am proud to share one of my stories about growing up in an orphanage for twenty years was published. This journey has shaped my deepest core of my being as an artist, and I am grateful for the opportunity  to tell a small part of it.  I feel grateful for the chance to share just a slice of that life with you. With love, EvaNali.

  •  Thank you EvaNali for sharing your story with the world. You are an example that free will is very powerful, and just because circumstances are not in ones favour does not mean one will fail in life. You are a beacon of hope. Your writing style brings your circumstances to vibrant life for those who have no knowledge of the orphanage. You write straight from the young childs heart with a sophistication of a seasoned writer using carefully crafted words. I do hope you will continue this literary journey.

  • I don't know where to start but I think the best word would be "WOW"
I admire your bravery to speak up about things that happened in your past. Your confidence inspires me to be more confidence in myself
You are very bold and outgoing, your not deterred by the idea of failure. Infa t these experiences have made you the strong and knowledgeable person you are today.
Just know every room you enter you light it up,and we all see this. You always make sure everyone in the room is heard and seen. No one feels left out or lonely, and now I know why! You always see the best in others and you make me a better person by just knowing you. Love your neighbor but now your friend. Sherry

  •  EvaNali Spacek's account of her time in the orphanage during Christmas was heart-wrenching. It was utterly bold and courageous of her to share it with the world.

I am currently participating in the Memoir Masterclass -  https://www.leslieleylandfields.com/ -  where I am learning to effectively write and convey my emotions. This process is rooted in my experience of growing up in an orphanage for 20 years of my life. - Feedbacks from the Story leaders - Click  here
